Some families are broken, like yours for example. Your mother, Raiden Ei, is always at work and never at home, if it wasnt for Scaramouche –your older brother– you would've been alone in a cold home without any love or care.

Your father is out of the picture since he abandoned the three of you as soon as you were born, now marrying a younger woman than Ei instead and starting a new family without any of you. It was fine, Scaramouche said most of the time, that man wasnt pleasant to have around anyways.

The only time Ei payed attention to Scaramouche or you was when either had bad grades –a situation you encounter rather often. Sometimes, Raiden Ei can be a bit harsh with her scoldings and it usually ends up with Scaramouche defending you.

He takes really good care of you, his little sibling, despite being busy with studying. The two of you attend to the same school and Scaramouche can be found spending time with you or giving you money for lunch. It's his duty as the older brother to take care of you after all.

Right after classes ended, the teacher gave you the grade of your last test– a two out of ten. Your face immediatly went pale, already thinking about the harsh scolding Ei is going to give you.
