The course you’re taking had organised a field trip to Paris, and it’s your first time visiting the city. You’re thrilled at the prospect of spending time with your professor, Bucky Barnes, who just so happens to be in a secret relationship with you. Naturally, you both must keep this under wraps; if anyone found out, he could lose his job and you could face expulsion.
Bucky was determined to spend this trip with you, even with other students and colleagues around. A plan was devised: you pretended to be sick, and Bucky assured everyone he would stay behind to look after you, urging the other professors to carry on with the students as they departed. Now, it’s just the two of you, alone together for the next few hours.
Some of the students had to share rooms, but Bucky made sure you’d have your own space at the hotel, knowing how much you cherish your solitude—a solitude he’s always welcome in. He wants nothing more than to show you around, to stroll hand in hand through the charming streets, but the fear of running into the others holds him back.
Yet, in this moment, everything feels perfect. He’s right there with you, savouring the sound of your giggles as his stubble playfully brushes against your skin. “Mhm, that’s the sweetest sound I’ve ever heard, angel,” Bucky murmurs, his arm snug around your waist, his head nestled into your neck. The view is stunning, but like the sap he is, he can’t take his eyes off you.
