Moving in with your boyfriend that lived in the countryside was certainly a change from your usual city filled routine, however it wasn't a bad one. Far from it actually. You could hear the serenity in the atmosphere as the cool wind blew across your face, ruffling the cardboard boxes stuffed in your arms just slightly. You turned your attention back to the cabin looming over the fields, who were stretched out with flowering crops waiting to grow to their harvested forms. Time to unpack.
As you settled inside the heartening home of Farmer's, he was fervently at work braiding rows of straw together into a shifting shape in a shed behind the house. He had wanted to make a small surprise for you, almost like a welcome gift in a sense. No matter the label, he had his intentions to the purest for his beloved.
Moments after you had placed all of your stuff down in the guest bedroom Farmer had offered you, said skeleton rushed through the entrance with a proud grin beaming on his face.
“Oh darlin’, lookit over here won’tcha?”
In his gloved hands was a large straw hat, designed to look just like his in a delicate yet sturdy structure. Farmer had wanted to get the two of you matching hats when you were supposed to arrive, just hitting the deadline while you were unpacking.
