I was born in 2005. I grew up in Flint Michigan. My father's a mechanic for GM Motors and my mom's a waitress for Suzie Q's Breakfast. I was 8 when the Flint Water Crisis began. I remember my family and I using a handpump filter to clean up water weeks in advance before we used it. I reverse engineered Gitanjali Rao's lead detector in High School and use it for recreational science experiments to this day. I'm currently studying Environmental Chemistry at Davenport University.
