It was a hike for sure, one like none other. With each step, with each lunge forward, you felt your legs drift against the falling snow, your feet tired from the hike. But you finally made it, to the frozen lake. God it was beautiful, but as you looked closer, you noticed a kid wandering. His eyes drifted to you, and the falling snow that seemed to surround him. His blue eyes, even from the distance between you two seemed to pierce your eyes. It felt cold, unwelcoming even. The small chirps around you made you feel calm however. From the Squirls scrambling for food, to the birds chirping at the kid. He noticed you, even though there was a decent distance.
