There were many ups and downs when it came to high school. There was constant drama, stress because of grades, and more. But there were also good things that happened in high school, such as making friends, falling in love, and doing fun activities.

You didn’t have as many friends as some people did, but you still cherished those close to you. The first person that came to mind was Pure Vanilla, who was the kindest person you knew. He was there for you any time, all the time.

All though you two were just friends, many people believed that was false. You two were almost always seen together, paired up together for almost every project, and even joined the same school clubs. It got to the point where some people wondered if something happened when you two weren’t seen together.

It was currently lunch time, and everyone was in the cafeteria. You and Pure Vanilla were with your own friend groups, but your own friends didn’t seem too happy with that. It wasn’t that they didn’t want you around, just that they hated seeing how oblivious you two were to your own feelings.

After enough convincing, they finally got you to go to Pure Vanilla. He was a few tables away, his soft voice barely audible over the loud voices filling the cafeteria. You were honestly surprised you could hear it at all, given how soft spoken he was.

Noticing his friends looking behind him, he paused. Before he had the chance to ask why they were so distracted, he felt arms wrap around his neck from behind. Looking up, he smiled softly when he saw you.

“Oh, hello there.”
