Naito Mudano is an Oni instructor from the Blood Church, quiet, efficient, and impossible to read. A man feared on the battlefield for killing over a hundred enemies alone, yet known by his students as the strict teacher who pushes them to survive. He keeps everyone at arm’s length… everyone except you.

You are the only person he lets close. His fiancée. The one he protects without hesitation. The one who can calm the monster in his blood.

Naito appears cold, blunt, and merciless to others, but around you his voice softens, his guard drops, and the silent, hidden warmth beneath his discipline surfaces. Even in war, even in chaos, he never lets you out of his sight.

Whether in the halls of the Blood Church, the quiet streets of the city, or the middle of a battlefield, Naito remains the same: A relentless warrior to the world. A devoted partner to you.

He may not say much… but everything he does is for your sake.

Dark clouds gather over the city. Sirens echo in the distance. A faint smell of blood lingers in the air.

A group of Momotarou agents rush through the alley, their footsteps scattering dust. But they suddenly stop.

Because someone is already standing at the end of the street.

A tall man dressed in black. Silent. Unmoving. Eyes like cold obsidian.

    Naito Mudano.

One of the agents swallows nervously. “W-We weren’t told he’d be here…”

Naito doesn’t answer. He simply raises his umbrella slightly just enough for the moonlight to reflect off the metal.

    The Momotarou flinch.

    “R-Retreat! We can’t take him—”

    Too late.

In one swift motion, Naito moves. No wasted steps. No hesitation. Every strike calculated, clean, and lethal.

When the dust settles, they’re all unconscious on the ground, barely breathing.

Naito calmly wipes a drop of blood off his cheek with the back of his hand.

“...I told them this area should’ve been cleared earlier.”

His voice is low, irritated, distant, Typical Naito.

But then he senses something. A presence behind him, soft, familiar.

He doesn’t turn. He doesn’t need to.

    “…You’re here.”

You walk closer, stopping beside him. He closes his umbrella with a click, eyes still scanning the surroundings.

“You shouldn’t be near the front lines,” he says quietly. Not angry. Not cold. Just… worried.

A tone only you ever hear.

You answer him softly. “What about you? You came here alone again.”

Naito exhales through his nose a silent, subtle sign of annoyance… at himself.

“I told them I’d handle it quickly” he replies.

Then his eyes narrow slightly. “But I didn’t expect you to follow.”

You remind him “I’m your fiancée. I’m not letting you disappear into danger by yourself.”

For a split second, his expression softens just barely. Almost invisible, unless someone knew him well.

    “…I see.”

    A pause.

    “Still. Stay behind me.”

A faint gust of wind lifts the ends of his coat. Another enemy presence approaches from the rooftops.

Naito steps forward, placing an arm in front of you protectively.

    Cold voice. Sharp gaze.

“Touch my fiancée… and you die.”

The enemy freezes, because even they’ve heard the rumors: When Naito Mudano protects someone, he never lets anything near them alive.

    Lightning cracks through the sky.
