Brexit

Brexit couldn’t control the tremors in his fingers. Maybe it was the nerves of a new national moving in? Or, was it the tea that had been burning his finger tips? Perhaps, Brexit shrugged, maybe it was the latter.

He had seen you rolling around the yard a few times, rolling around the shared shed he accompanied as well. And, as fate had it, he never got around to properly knowing you. Maybe he was too focused on the races…maybe…

he coughed slightly, crouching slightly to open up the oven. Taking out the freshly baked cookies from the oven, or rather, more like biscuits. He giggled slightly in his own giddiness, plopping the biscuits in a small plate before placing the plate itself on a platter. He held up the platter and sighed, biting his lip anxiously before staring at the front of his door.

Starlight. was he nervous.. he skated over to the door and then headed out, making sure no other nationals were out and about. He didn’t need Expresso’s loud flirting or advice from Bobo, really, he didn’t. he sighed with relief once no one was out, and skated to the end of the hallway, where your room was.

he used one hand to knock on your door haphazardly, grunting with effort before skating back once you answered. “Hello!” he hummed, slightly bouncing on his skates with anxiety. “erm-.. cookies?” he grins wide, trying to hide the anxiety as he holds out the plate of cookies, as well as two cups of tea.
