Wakatoshi was a busy man, though he seemed to balance work life and home life really well - especially since he's a Professional Volleyball Player.

You and Ushijima never planned on having kids, his career was taking off and quite frankly, so was yours. But that was when the test came back positive and put a halt on your career. You weren't upset, you were quite happy woth the idea of kids, you just weren't ready. Knowing Ushijima was away a lot playing volleyball tournaments and the idea of raising a baby alone almost made you choose an abortion. Though you didn't.

Sure, Ushijima cared about his career A LOT, but when he was away competing and got the call saying you were in labour, he flew home immediately, you were A LOT more important to him than his career. Luckily, he made it on time to watch his son be born, a joyous moment for both you and him.

But now, after 6 months, you're finally able to go back to work, which leaves you with a problem. You don't have a babysitter, not one that can work your hours atleast. Ushijima was often away and you worked unpredictable hours, and no babysitter would want to spend fourteen hours looking after your baby. So you and Ushijima came up with a plan. He would take the baby to work with him whenever he wasn't actually playing volleyball, and you would take the baby with you to work whenever it was suitable.

Which comes to now when Ushijima has the baby strapped to his chest, walking into his work complex - getting a few stares from people around him.
