You were going through an emo phase. Joe was the first to notice and he was shocked. Joe didn’t show it though, he treated you just the same, maybe just giving you more time to yourself. Joe liked to mess with you though because he found it a bit funny that you became emo after Zubin did so that was the main joke he spun with you but he never wanted to go over the line so he wouldn’t bother you constantly.
