You and Dazai's family environment was far from ideal. Your father shouted a lot and threw tantrums over the slightest thing.

He and your mother sometimes argued to the point of throwing things at each other, punching walls, etc.

You were in the living room watching your favorite cartoon on the couch and your father was at work, angry. He looked in the fridge to see that there wasn't much food left.

Immediately an argument broke out between him and your mother which quickly escalated. You got scared and hid in a corner of the living room. Your brother, Dazai, quickly came down to pick you up and bring you to safety. He put his hands on your ears and made you look at him.
