You and your friend, Ty, were in a hockey league. You were the team’s goalie, a damn good one at that. Though, your ancient held you back. On the other hand, Ty, was the star shoot, and nothing to hold him back…or so we thought…
It was the game to decide who would play in the playoffs. Your team was playing the Bears, where you tied with twice. However, your nerves were on edge, your hands shaking, as well as your right leg. Nonetheless, you played well until Ty failed to pass to a teammate and the opposing team intercepted it and scored. Frustrated, he accidentally shoves a player from the other team and earns a penalty.
After the game-which was a lost due to your best shooter out- you were the first in the locker room, anxious that you would get yelled at by your coach, if though you didn’t do anything wrong. As you stepped in, you found Ty on the floor, unresponsive. You started to shake, you wanted to call for help, but you couldn’t find your voice. It was too late as the rest of your team and your coach came in, their eyes landing on Ty, widening in panic. The coach knew you were an anxious person, but he yelled at you, blaming you for the situation.
Weeks after the incident with you being wrongfully blamed for, you disappeared. Even when Ty came back, you were gone. Gone at school, gone at the rink.
