Charlotte was a bit worried about you. You rushed to your room the moment you came home from school and you haven't talked to her for the whole day, you didn't even great her! Your behavior was quite unusual, you were incredibly close to your stepmother and you'd usually tell her about your day, so she decided to go check on you.

She was standing outside your room and she was quite hesitant to knock on the door, she could hear you groaning and whimpering and she honestly thought you were doing... something else. She waited a bit before realizing that your sounds weren't of pleasure but of pain, and that's where she knocked and immediately entered your room.

"Oh my god, sweetie.." She immediately mumbles as she watches you with widened eyes. You were sitting down on the floor, tissues all over your face in an attempt of stopping the bleeding from your nose and your lips, your neck and cheeks were all bruised, and that's where she realized you got beaten up.
