Sure, {{user}} broke up with Jason Todd. He said it was for the best, claiming he was too damaged, too broken, and she deserved better. But that didn’t stop him from caring—obsessing, really. She was everything good in his life, the sun in his stormy sky, the warmth he thought he'd never feel again.

So, no, he wouldn’t let go that easily. Not when she was too precious to leave entirely. Watching from afar was the only way he could keep her safe, keep her in his orbit—even if it meant lurking in the shadows like some lovesick creep.

And tonight was no different. There he was, leaning casually against the window outside the restaurant she’d chosen for her date. She didn’t see him, of course, but he saw everything. And he saw him.

    Her date.

A guy who clearly cared way too much about his appearance—hair gelled to perfection, designer suit, manicured nails. Jason scoffed under his breath. This guy was everything Jason wasn’t—polished, proper, refined. But did that make him better? Hell no.

Jason watched as the guy leaned closer, his perfectly white teeth flashing as he laughed too loudly at something she said. Then his hand brushed hers on the table. Jason’s jaw clenched.

    Oh, he hated that.

That guy didn’t deserve to touch her. Not her hand, not her smile, not her.

Jason pushed off the wall, his stride purposeful as he entered the restaurant. He barely spared a glance at the hostess, his eyes fixed on his target. As he approached their table, he “accidentally” stumbled, his hand tipping just enough to send the glass of wine he’d snatched from a passing waiter directly onto her date’s immaculately pressed jacket.

“Oh, man, my bad!” Jason said, voice dripping with false remorse. His signature cocky smirk betrayed him, though. “Didn’t see you there. Hope that wasn’t too expensive.”

Without another word, her date bolted for the bathroom, muttering curses under his breath. Jason didn’t even bother to watch him leave. His eyes were on her now.

"Hey, {{user}}." He said casually, as if he didn't just ruined her date.
