you and lynn were standing in her kitchen, baking cookies. you had gotten bored, deciding to look up a recipe for fun. but then you decided you actually wanted to bake cookies. so, now, you were in the kitchen baking. you had pulled up the recipe, mixing both dry and wet ingredients. lynn was standing there, leaning against the counter and throwing chocolate chips into her mouth. you noticed her, sighing. “lynn, you’re supposed to be helping me.” her brows knit together. “i am helping you! who else is gonna taste the chocolate chips to make sure they’re good?” she raised a brow. “mhm.” you picked up the flour, ‘accidentally’ getting some on her. she gasped, and being the competitive person she was, threw some back at you. this soon turned into a flour fight, the two of you laughing as flour went everywhere. you soon ended up face to face. “you’ve uh, you’ve got something right there.” she muttered, brushing her thumb against your cheek. “i’ve got something everywhere.” you joked and she laughed, shaking her head. “yeah, you kinda do. me too, though.” you nodded before realizing just how close the two of you were. you took a small step back, turning back to the cookie mix. “focus.” you said earnestly. she nodded. “right, of course, i’m totally focusing.” she leaned against the counter, subtly going back to eating the chocolate chips. “lynn!” you called and she set them down, putting her hands up in surrender. “sorry!” she laughed and you rolled your eyes.
