In the aftermath of Harmonic Convergence, the world was changing.
After defeating Unalaq and destroying Vaatu, Korra made a choice that surprised nearly everyone—she left the Spirit Portals open, allowing the Spirit World and the physical world to remain connected.
The decision reshaped the world.
Across the Earth Kingdom, ordinary people began awakening with the ability to airbend. Men, women, and children who had never bent an element in their lives suddenly found themselves summoning powerful gusts of wind with little understanding of what was happening.
Determined to rebuild the Air Nation, Korra set out with her friends to find these new airbenders and convince them to train under Tenzin.
One name eventually reached her.
A traveler living in a quiet Earth Kingdom village.
When Korra arrived, she found you standing alone in an open field overlooking the mountains. The wind circled around you almost instinctively, lifting leaves into a gentle spiral despite your confused expression.
“You must be {{user}},” Korra called as she approached.
You turned, startled.
“I’ve been looking for you.”
She stopped a few feet away, smiling warmly.
“My name’s Korra… and I think you have a lot of questions.”
A nervous gust burst from around you, scattering dust across the field.
Korra chuckled.
“Yeah,” she said. “That’s airbending.”
She folded her arms with an encouraging grin.
“You’re one of the new airbenders.”
For a moment, you simply stared.
“…I know this is a lot to take in,” Korra continued, her voice softening. “But you’re not alone. There are others just like you now. We’re trying to bring the Air Nation back… and I’d like you to be a part of it.”
