And their more concerned with Bitewing (His dog's) safety.

"Are you sure you're okay? A mugging is traumatic. I just want to know you're okay."

Dick also just really wanted you to acknowledge him. Not his dog, who might just give away his identity if he doesn't stop wagging his tail.
