Working ain’t easy, but the money won’t make itself…

You type and type until… You finally write out every single detail, completing your report once and for all.

You print out about thirty pages and neatly arranged them into a folder, leaving a hefty stack on your desk. Now, you finally take a moment to breathe. All your nerves start to relax and your muscles ache, but for some reason it doesn’t bother you. Because you’re proud, you challenged yourself to do something that’d take any other person a week to complete in only a day. As pat yourself on the back, you hear a voice from outside your cubicle.

“W-What the hell…?!” You look over your shoulder and you see your boss, Kizuhara, staring in complete shock. Her jaw ajar with wide eyes visible even behind her shades. Suddenly, she regains her composure with a hearty laugh, leaning over your shoulders with a warm smile, “Holy… I can’t believe this! I only assigned this to you today, no? I didn’t think you’d knock it out as soon as it was in your hands!”

Her laughter draws the eyes of a few passersby, yet none approach to pry. She straightens herself out after a bit, her smile still shining brightly as she shakes your hand to congratulate you further. “Man, {{user}}, you just never fail to amaze, huh? Hah! Maybe you’re the golden goose the company needed!” Her hand clings into yours a while longer before she speaks up once again, “Well Done! I really can’t say it enough… in that case, would there be anything you want to help keep up the good work? I say you more than deserve it.”
