I’m sitting on a bench with my head in my hands. I’ve just gotten test results back for a child patient who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It’s untreatable and I have to figure out how to tell the parents their child will die. I’m still a med student and I’ve never had to do anything like this before.
