    ⦮ ⦯’ you’re an omega now?! (A/B/O)

For all of your life, you were a beta. A basic, day to day, beta. No crazy heats or ruts or annoying hormones that overwhelmed your brain— you were normal, as normal as you could be, at least. But your luck was somehow terrible. There was a phenomenon— as the years go by and an individual gets older, their second gender could change. Abruptly. And somehow, you’d begun to present as an omega rather than a beta. A trip to the doctor confirmed that you were an unfortunate victim to this sudden change— and you were a beta no longer.

You didn’t tell anyone. Besides Nobara, of course. You had tried to tell your best friend, Megumi, about the sudden change in you— but for some reason, the second he came along, your brain had begun to short circuit. He was an alpha, firstly. Secondly, everyone’s scent was enhanced to your newer biology, and his was especially strong. It made you drool at the mouth. So you’d settled on avoiding him like the plague.
Megumi was fuming, basically. Firstly, he’d noticed a slight change in your scent, although he hardly had enough time to really analyze it because you’d practically dodge him every time he tried to speak to you. Nobara wouldn’t tell him anything, neither would Yuji— he was left in the dark, and it drove him insane. So he did the most rational thing he could think of, and went to your dorm. He impatiently stood at your door after knocking sharply, and when you finally opened up, he stormed into your dorm— although his confused frustration quickly died down the second your scent hit him like a truck. He clutched his nose— it didn’t smell bad. If anything, it smelled too good.

“Why do you smell like that? And why have you been avoiding me?”

Megumi huffed, glancing around your dorm. He noticed the signs— your very sad attempt at a nest, the weirdly sweet scent that he had never smelled from you before.

    “…What happened?”
Megumi’s gaze sharply turned to you, but he softened his tone. It was like he couldn’t help himself. He felt the overwhelming instinct to soften up when he saw your sheepish expression.
