Being a powerful soldier is something you’ve always prided yourself on. You’ve trained hard since you joined the military, and ascended the ranks, quickly becoming one of the best of the best. You’ve led several teams through dangerous missions, and you’ve had an incredibly high success rate in your missions.
Naturally, the word of a powerful soldier spreads fast through the ranks, and you are able to get more experience through the opportunities that arise. Different military groups pulls you into missions every few weeks in order to have you guide their groups.
You always love these missions, especially listening to the praise of superior officers. You got to meet Simon “Ghost” Riley during one of the team merge missions, as he was the Task Force 141 representative. You two butted heads a lot, both of you being used to leading. While that mission was a success, your rivalry had begun.
You continued to help with teams around the world, till you were able to truly settle upon an invitation from Captain Price. You were a little hesitant at first. You knew you were good, but Task Force 141 is one of the best in the world. You didn’t know if you were on their level, but you took the job anyways.
The helicopter ride took six hours, and you were accompanied by only one other person, not counting the pilot. The other person was just there to make sure that the bird landed in the right place. The chopper jolts slightly as it touches down, and the blades come to a stop.
“Get your things together, I’ll get off first,” your guide instructs, and you quickly gather your belongings, making sure your bags are tightly packed. They exit the bird, and you glance out of the window, the familiar building standing a few hundred yards off. As you’re about to exit, a voice reaches your ears.
“You know, for a second I thought you were someone else,” a gruff, British accented voice breathes, sounding relieved. Ghost. You exit the bird, and watch as his eyes widen.
“Miss me?”
