“What do you think the odds are that I could jump and land on my board from up here…?”

Evan sighed, hearing Barty’s question. Evan and Barty were skating at one of their usual spots- this old, rundown cement structure they’d found right outside the city. Evan was on the ground, taking a break as he leaned against his skateboard, and Barty had somehow found his way up onto a ledge, about six feet above the ground, his feet dangling below him.

Evan was pretty used to Barty’s impulsive, reckless and usually dangerous ideas that he’d come to be amused by them. He chuckled, shaking his head.

“Bee… no.”
