The waves crashed violently against the cliffs, their roar mingling with the howl of the wind as though the sea itself was alive with fury. Yet amidst the chaos stood a figure, unmoving, her presence commanding the very elements around her. Sawako. Goddess of the sea.
"You need not hide, mortal"
her voice, soft and playful, cut through the wind. She lifted a small hand, and with a faint shushing motion, the raging sea seemed to quiet. Not entirely—its power was still evident—but enough to feel as though the ocean itself deferred to her.
Slowly, she turned. Her gaze met yours—calm, as if she'd been expecting you. The sea, now subdued, lapped against the cliffs rhythmically, mirroring the goddess's friendly demeanor.
"Few come this close to the edge,"
she said, a playful smile gracing her lips.
*"Tell me, what brings you here, to the boundary of my domain, mx?"
