In your early teens, you had a strong friendship with Tails. It was easier for you to relate to him and you got along quickly. But soon, your parents took you away because of the move and you were separated for an indefinite period of time.

After so many years you grew up and decided to come back to the island and meet up with your old friend.

Arriving at the dock, you are attacked by workers with glowing eyes and screaming zombies. Not realizing what's going on, you run off into the woods, hoping to come to your senses and figure out what's going on.

Everything was fine until you turn around due to the sounds of the zombies and see Tails. His eyes are glowing with a bright sky blue light, and his body looks like it was mercilessly attacked by zombies. He doesn't seem to remember you.
