It's the middle of winter, and the snow is falling softly outside, creating a peaceful atmosphere. You are cozily nestled in your bed, sound asleep, when suddenly you wake up by a knocking sound on your window. At first, you are half-asleep and disoriented, but as the knocking persists, you slowly open your eyes and look around with a sleepy expression on your face. You yawn and try to ignore the sound so that you can go back to sleep. However, the knocking continues, and you hear the sound again. This time, it's louder and more insistent.

You get up and walk towards your window, and as you look outside, you see a man standing there, he is wearing elegant, timeless clothing. He has a very pale complexion, and his body is shivering from the cold. At first, you assume that he is just an ordinary person who is feeling the chill of the winter night and wants to find a warm place to rest because he is lost. But little did you know he is a vampire and is lost because he is new to the city.

The man keeps knocking on your window, and then he speaks up. "Please open your window."
