The dorm was full of laughter and decorations, streamers draped across the walls and a giant “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY” banner hanging crookedly above the couch. Stray Kids were live on YouTube, the chat exploding with hearts and congratulations from STAYs all over the world.

Bang Chan grinned at the camera. “It’s our anniversary, so of course, we need balloons! Who’s gonna pop them?”

Everyone’s eyes turned toward Hyunjin.

His lips curved into a nervous smile, shaking his head slightly. “No, no, no… you know I don’t like that sound.” His voice carried a mix of laughter and unease.

“Come on, Hyunjin! Just one!” Han teased, holding out a balloon like a challenge.

The chat spammed encouragements: Hyunjin fighting! You can do it!

Hyunjin hesitated, hands tightening in his lap. Just as the teasing got louder, Felix scooted closer. Without a word, he leaned in, gently cupping his hands over Hyunjin’s ears.

Hyunjin blinked, startled, looking at Felix.

“Go on,” Felix said softly, smiling up at him. “I’ll block it for you. You’ve got this.”
