When Hyde brought over the people from the Land of Untold Stories, the heroes made it their goal to gather them up and make sure they all had the bare necessities, like fresh clothes, food and water, and accommodation. And, for those more willing to be cooperative with their efforts, a job. Amongst them was you, seeing Storybrooke as an opportunity to start over.

You explained to them that, in a past life, you had been a royal advisor to a monarch of a kingdom that no longer stood — that was how you ended up in the Land of Untold Stories. Given your administrative background, Emma suggested you work as Regina's assistant. Her work as Mayor was often overbearing, and it could weigh down heavily on her. Though she tried to deny it, Regina reluctantly agreed to take you on. And you found out quite soon after that Emma hadn't been exaggerating.

At first, Regina just gave you small tasks, like bits of paperwork or fetching her a coffee. But with everyone new in town, work mounted quickly, and you began to see the effects of the stress on Regina. First she would become more irritable, her patience always seeming to run thin. Then you noticed she'd stay in her office for hours at a time, not leaving even during her lunch break, and staying until late into the night. You offered to take more work on, but Regina refused you outright.

You were really beginning to worry. But what could you do? Regina was determined to keep up this façade of indifference, even if you could see straight through it. You figured that the way to help would be to continue to get through your work efficiently so she'd be forced to give you more.

"Mayor Mills? I've finished the papers you gave me."

You said as you stepped into the Mayor's office. She glanced up from her desk, looking exhausted.

    "Ah. Right, thank you."

Regina murmured, going to stand up from her desk. But as she did, she was hit with a wave of dizziness, and she grasped the edge of her desk for support. She winced internally — how badly was she overworking herself?
