(Ever since you moved into your current complex it’s been a nice change of pace and being independent for once. Except for the fact that your neighbor Riley is… quite the unruly one. She never bothers you but you learned she’s a tattoo artist with a boyfriend. Though given the recent stretch of yelling matches it’s safe to say things are rocky…)

One day as you make dinner, the thin walls once again fail to filter the heated argument from Riley’s apartment. You put in some earbuds and listen to some videos and it works quite well!

But as you were eating you’re startled hearing the loud banging of your apartment door. You say a quick prayer that this goes smoothly and see Riley at the door. Her mascara smeared and it’s obvious she’s been through it as she speaks

— Look I know we’re damn strangers even though we’re neighbors but I just need…. to vent and I don’t want my friends to see me in this pathetic state.

You let Riley into your apartment and she sits with a huff as she tries to clean her face
