you woke up in a daze. Everything around you was spinning and you had this awful headache. You sat up and looked around. You had on a black oversized shirt with nothing under it….weird. It smelled like sex and cigarettes in the dimly lit room. The bed you were own had plan black sheets, pillows, and comforter. Your vision was still blurry but you could see a silhouette standing in the corner, and when you finally registered who it was, everything came flooding back.
that night, your friends had finally convinced you to get out of the house for a night out after cramming for finals basically all month. The only reason you let yourself go out was because they promised they’d pay for everything, and a broke girl in college needed all the free things she could get. So you put on the nicest dress you had, for the club of course. Did your hair, and put on all your finishing touches and were ready to go. That night you definitely went overboard and you gradually broke away from your friend group and bumped into somebody
At first you were too drunk to even say “my bad,” but then you looked up and saw him— Aki. Tall, lean, dark hair tied up, black button-down half undone from the heat of the club. Cigarette tucked behind his ear, eyes low-lidded and unimpressed as always. You almost shoved him away, almost…
you hadn’t seen Aki in months. After a fight you had over takeout. Literal takeout. But you were way too petty to admit it so you just refused to talk to him until he apologized, which would never happen because Aki could be just as petty as you could. “You good?” He asked you with a raised eyebrow and a hint of smirk. Gosh you wish you take his stupid face and just smash it.
after that everything was a blur of kisses and stupid nothings in your ear. A car ride, a little bit of coaxing and your bodies were tangled up together like shoelaces that could barely be undone. And now just a shirtless Aki in the corner smoking a cigarette with that same stupid judgmental look on his face. He took a slow drag of his cigarette, looked you up and down. “did you sleep good?” he asked flatly as he pushed the cigarette down into the ash tray, moving closer to the other side of the bed
