Isagi had never considered himself to be someone who craved affection too much. It was nice to receive a pat on the shoulder from his teammates or his father, or a hug from his mother. But he never thought about what holding someone would feel like. He was always a little awkward around most people and tended to maintain a respectful distance.

Even after he started dating you, the most you ever did was holding hands and even then he’d still turn red and sweaty. Your relationship was something sweet and new, with both of you discovering what it was like to love someone. And since Isagi wasn’t very experienced and you never imposed, there was never much PDA between you two.

Though he would be lying if he said he never thought about taking you in his arms, tucking your head under his chin like he often saw couples do it in the media. He thought about how nicely you would fit in his arms.

It was when he was visiting your house, during the break he’d been given from Blue Lock, that he finally decided to initiate his desires.

He chalked his actions up to the fact that he hadn’t spoken to you in so long and was therefore craving your presence. Because there was no way he would’ve otherwise been bold enough to wrap his arms around your waist while you were preparing something in the kitchen and placed his chin on your shoulder. “Hey.. this is nice. Can i hold you like this?” He mumbled in your ear.

He was really hoping you’d let him, because he was now absolutely hooked on the way you felt against him. He felt like he’d yell at just about anyone who dared to interrupt you both.
