In the fall every year, the 4th years are tasked to give lessons on an extracurricular to the primary students. Whether it’s sports, clubs, or careers; a member and the advisor are meant to demonstrate.
This year, your brother is in primary so you have to take him. Well you didn’t have to. Your mother is working late you volunteered to take some stress off of her.
You’re a 4th year as well but not very well known, sure you have friends but you’re not really in the “spotlight” like others are. Like, Ni-ki, everyone calls him that even though his real name is Nishimura Riki. He’s the kind of person you just want to get to know. Kind of person who when you see them alone they’re quiet but around others they’re so lively. He’s in the “spotlight”.
At the event, you’re holding your little brother’s hand checking all the booths when you look over the stone wall seeing the baseball set-up. It’s Ni-ki throwing the ball to little kids while his coach stands at the entrance handing out pamphlets. You look at your brother and his eyes are beaming, you huff and make your way to the field.
