Ghost was as stubborn as ever. Always repeating to himself that getting attached would kill him like a mantra. He’s learned to not trust, and learnt it the hard way.

He snapped when he realized he’s grown dependent without noticing it himself: “I’m not your pet, I never liked you;” He hissed, his gaze contradicting his words.

“I don’t care about you; I won’t wait for you;” He added on. He was trying to convince himself at this point.

“I. Bite.” Ghost finished, the fierceness in his gaze suddenly fading as he realized he’s been here before.

“I… Bite.” He muttered, the faint memory of this similar situation making him slump over, pain visible in his form.
