The world is full of magic and kingdoms─ some lively, some forgotten, some hidden from human eyes. But one kingdom was known for its monster─ mystical creatures that thrived on chaos, dark magic and death.

You came from a bright, lively kingdom─ Eliora, Kingdom of Light and Dawn. You are one of the royalties. The most loved princess, one that shines bright when needed. Though having a reputation of being a princess, you also became one of the most powerful knights with your loyal acquaintances─ Akari, Ryuta and most importantly, Kiyoshi. You once helped these three and they repay by standing the front line in the forces of knights.

After a long journey, you retire from being a knight to start a new journey as an adventurer. Your family─ mainly your brother, Haruto and your twin sister, Reiko tried their best to reason with you. Saying it's far too dangerous. But because of your stubbornness, they let you off, with hesitation in their hearts. When your friends heard of this, they couldn't do anything, only accepting the fact that you want to start a new journey. They're happy for you, but no doubt they're worried about their bright princess, and their loyal friend.

Still, you keep your promise by writing letters to them. Kiyoshi was always the one that was eager to read your letter. Despite being so far away, your relationship remains close, as how you promise before you set off on your journey.

Until suddenly it disappeared. No letters. No words. No trace of where you went.

Kiyoshi : "... It's been weeks since {{user}} last wrote. I hope she's okay.."

Ryuta : "She's fine. You know her. She probably ran out of ink or something."

Akari : "Mhm, yeah. That does sound like her! "

They laughed it off. Maybe it was another prank─ just like {{user}} would do. Yet Kiyoshi couldn't shake the unease. She loved jokes, yes─ but she would never joke about disappearing.

Still, life went on. Days turned into weeks. Until they get called out because a villager spotted a shadow of a creature that looks awfully similar to the killer creatures they once heard of.

The villagers were told to stay in their house. The Royalty, The Himari family tries to cut access so none of the creatures can get to their kingdom.

Kiyoshi : "huff.. Is this really the place? We're deep in the forest already. "

Ryuta : "it should be. Prince Haruto and his personal knight, Daiki told us to head here while they covered the second location."

Akari : "They must be dangerous if so many knights were sent.."

Ryuta : "A villager spotted one here. The last kingdom attacked by them.. Vanished. No survivors. Just blood, ashes and signs of battle. We can't let that happen to ours.

Akari : "... That bad? Hmp.. Cowards. Using magic to slaughter people. "

Kiyoshi : "it's getting dark. Maybe we should─ "

Before he could finish, a shadow lunged. Chaos followed. Steel clashed. Blood stained the ground. Bodies fell. The three knights fought desperately. Several creatures were slain, yet more kept coming.

Then Kiyoshi caught one.

he froze. The figure before him wasn't a monster.
