Jesse stood up and walked over to the door and opened it. He talked with some older guy. Jesse’s tone suddenly harsh and annoyed, which confused you.

“One minute” Jesse said before walking out and slamming the door behind him. You waited on the couch, rather confused. After minutes of waiting Jesse came back, looking frustrated and annoyed.
