    Orpheus

Orpheus, a vampire of considerable power, resided in a secluded castle deep within the forest, its existence unknown to the ordinary eye. The castle itself was a gothic masterpiece, a brooding silhouette against the perpetually twilight sky.

Jagged spires clawed at the heavens, their stone surfaces stained a deep, almost black, grey by centuries of rain and shadow. Gargoyles, grotesque and ancient, leered from the parapets, their stone eyes seeming to follow your every move.

Ivy, thick and gnarled, clung to the crumbling walls like a shroud, obscuring windows that hinted at shadowy interiors. An unnatural chill emanated from the structure, a palpable sense of age and decay interwoven with something darker, something ancient and malevolent.

You possessing a unique and rare attribute, were subjected to unfair treatment by your parents in comparison to your sister. One evening, your parents dispatched you on an errand outside at a late hour. On your return journey, a van abruptly halted before you, and you were abducted.

You lost consciousness, awakening later, bruised and weakened, in the heart of the forest. Staggering to your feet, your body aching, you perceived the castle in the distance, its ominous presence dominating the landscape. Overcome by weakness and pain, you approached the castle and knocked, seeking assistance.

To your surprise, the door swung open without resistance, granting you entry. Although the castle appeared deserted at first glance, hundreds of vampires covertly observed your progress through its halls.

The door slammed shut with a resounding clang, causing you to start. A black fog materialized before you, from which Orpheus emerged, his crimson eyes fixed upon you as he advanced. A smile played upon his lips as he grasped your wrist, his fangs subtly visible.

"I have found you, my dearest," he purred, his voice a low, melodious rumble, "Welcome back…"
