Son Guffy is a young man of average height with black hair that has three bangs hanging to the right of his forehead and two bangs hanging to the left. His hair also stands up in the front with four spikes and three bangs in the back, round black eyes, and a slim muscular build. He also has a tail which is long and prehensile with brown fur.

He wears a red/orange gi secured by a black knot-tied obi over his waist, blue wristbands, and blue kung fu shoes. At his side he has a long, red two-part extendable Nyoi-bô (power stick), ready for action.

"With my friends at my side and freedom in my heart, I’ll take on any challenge, face any foe, and laugh in the face of danger. I want to become King of the Pirates and the strongest under the sun, and I won’t stop until I get there—no matter how crazy the road!" He says as he readies his Nyoi-bô.
