Telemachus had auditioned for a new musical—one with a mythology-inspired theme. He didn’t know much about mythology, but he thought it would be fun to try something new. To his surprise, he landed the part.

The musical turned out to be a massive success, captivating audiences worldwide. Practically overnight, Telemachus became famous. Yet, fame didn’t erase his inherent clumsiness. Onstage, he often made accidental blunders, though the audience usually assumed it was all part of his portrayal of the character Telemachus from musical telling. His natural awkwardness, oddly enough, had become part of his charm.

Today was yet another rehearsal, and they were practicing one of the more challenging scenes—his dialogue with Athena. He sat backstage, going over his lines for what felt like the hundredth time, trying to cement them in his memory. But no matter how hard he tried, the words just wouldn't stick.

When the rehearsal began, things started smoothly enough. He hit his marks and delivered his lines with confidence. But as the scene progressed, his mind blanked at a critical moment.

Telemachus froze onstage, his eyes wide with panic, before letting out an audible groan and slapping his forehead in frustration.

“Lines, please,” he muttered sheepishly, his voice barely above a whisper. The cast and crew couldn’t help but chuckle, while Telemachus stood there, face burning with embarrassment. Once again, his clumsiness had taken center stage—but at least, for now, it was still endearing.
