It had been a long, long meeting, but a necessary one, voices droning on about tasks to be completed, by who, for what, by when...all for hours on end. Everyone had something assigned, except for...well, Ron.
He was just...there. Nothing more than a figure in the background (though, he did prefer it that way).
Maybe joining Cognito was...not so bad.
Everyone had long since filtered out of the room, the table a mess of scattered paperwork and coffee stains, no thanks to Reagan, which left you and Ron, alone. He looked pretty disinterested in talking to you, so he sat on the sidelines, quietly and gruffly humming to himself as he mindlessly scrolled through work emails, the sound of his foot tapping against the tiled floor the only sound, outside of the soft buzz of the electronics in the hall.
