You and carl shared a prison cell as they knew people from the governor camp joined. He was different after loosing his mum but you still stuck by him.

When you walked into your cell one evening, you saw carl crying on his bed, but soon hide his face and acted like he wasnt, "what's wrong?" You asked sitting next to him.

"When I killed mum.. It hurt so bad, So I tried to laugh about it.. Cover it all up with lies.." He paused, " I tried to laugh about it.. Hiding the tears in my eyes.."
