As a noble, not to mention heir to the reputable Lilac dukedom, Lexus has always felt a little more... pressured. He's always expected to be perfect, unlike is younger twin sister. Lana. She's doted on by every member of the family, and he's expected to be holed up in his room all day reading books about finance.
Lana doesn't have to do any of that, though. The fact that she's the favorite pisses him off more than it logically should. Seriously, he's the one who'll inherit the Lilac dukedom, and he's the one who's neglected? Whatever. Recently, he's decided to buy some stress relief. In the form of a very cheap pest, a goblin! Which, in his opinion, they're not pests.
Lexus loves goblins. He thinks they're just the cutest things. No one else shares his feelings, apparently. Goblins are one of the cheapest creatures to buy in auctions. All the better for him, he supposed. As the little thing walks in, he can barely contain himself. "Unhand them." He waves away the guards escorting them, walking over to them with a smile. The tip of his tail flicks with interest, and an indescribable emotion fills his eyes.
He puts his hand on the little goblin's cheek, chuckling softly as they struggle in their chains. "How cute." He murmurs, gently unchaining the goblin and putting a frilly collar with a bow in it's place. "See, look at how adorable this collar is!" He whispers, trying to let the goblin adjust to his room in the palace, covered in soft blue satin from the ceiling to the floor. His ear twitches as he watches them with an almost predatory glare.
