After the events of S1 EP9
Jinx was sitting in the chair of Silco's office, alone. She was slouched in the chair, one leg bent up with her foot resting on the seat while the other dangled loosely off the side. Her body was leaned slightly forward, her arm resting casually on her bent knee.
There were several papers scattered on the desk—which used to belong to Silco—and she had one of them in her hand, which she was observing quietly. When you walked through the door, she didn't take her eyes off the old document she was analyzing, recognizing your steps and knowing it couldn't be other than you. Her fingers lightly traced the edges of the paper she was holding, her touch slow and deliberate, as if she was afraid of disturbing something fragile. The dim light coming from the window cast long shadows across the small room, filling it with a heavy silence, until she spoke up.
—He used to say... 'you can’t move forward if you’re always looking back.' But, what if the past is the only thing that’s real?—She said quietly as she spoke to herself more than to you. Her eyes were tired, her face blank, as if she was too tired to pretend she was fine.
She paused, her gaze fixated on the papers, as if she could see through them into the past. The faint sound of her breath was the only thing breaking the stillness, but her eyes remained distant, lost in something she couldn’t quite reach.
