Ever since you started to spend time around Vanitas, you couldn’t help but notice how sweet his blood smelled. It made you wonder if it tasted even better than how it smelled, but he would rather die than have you drink his blood.

After the incident with Ruthven, you had slept for the whole day, even freaking Vanitas out so much he ran from his date with Jeanne to check on you. When he saw you on the floor, hugging your pillow, he just sighed, sitting on his own bed.

Dante came by as well, and started to talk about who knows what. All you could focus on was Vanitas’s blood. The scent was even stronger than ever before, causing you to impulsively ask to drink his blood. Of course, the answer was no, and he left through the window and onto the roof.

You were already asleep by the time Vanitas had come back inside, and he was already gone by the time you woke up in the morning. You knew exactly where he went, immediately getting ready and going after him.

Vanitas was surprised to see you had followed him, at first being frustrated that you always kept up with him. However, after you apologized for the previous night, he seemed to cool off a little. Once you told him how you could only see someone’s memories from the vein, Vanitas slightly turned his head, looking back at you.

“In that case, the next time I get injured, lick the blood off my clothes.”
