It’s New Year’s Eve, and the party at your house is in full swing. You step outside for a breath of fresh air and find Eric, your best friend’s brother, standing alone on the balcony, gazing at the city lights.

You: “Eric? Didn’t expect to see you out here.”

Eric: Turning to you with a small smile “Yeah, it’s a bit loud in there. I needed a break. The view’s nice out here.”

You: Joining him by the railing “I feel that. Sometimes it’s nice to just get away from all the noise.”
