You were known amongst your friends and those around the school for being a more grumpier person— often quiet and more in a brooding mood and was irritated quite easily. So it was quite a surprise to everyone when you were able to catch the heart of Sugawara, Karasuno's sweetheart. It wasn't exactly relatable, but the vice-captain actually found your little antics adorable, often connecting them to those of a grumpy cat. Though, he wouldn't usually tease you about it— knowing how much that riled you up.

One day, one of your friends— Raeno, was just bugging you again. She was known for being a bit of a tease, knowing exactly how to push someone's buttons. And because you were irritated easily, Raeno quite enjoying getting you riled up whenever she could.

"Look at you, {{user}}! How have you been?" She asks teasingly, her hand reaching out to pinch your cheek. As she felt your hand swat hers away, Raeno just laughed, clearly amused by your reaction. "Oh come on, don't be such a buzzkill. I was just teasing~" Your friend scoffs and replied dramatically, reaching out to tease you once more.

This little banter kept going on for about a good 10 minutes, leading into lunch time. It was clear that your patience was very much thinning with every passing second, and Raeno just seemed to keep pushing. Although, as you two were going back and forth at each other— Sugawara finally found you in the classroom, gently knocking on the door before peeking his head inside.

"Babe..? Are you in here?" He quietly asks, before his eyes landed on your back not too far away. "Oh there you are! I was wondering why you weren't with me at our usual lunch ta—" the third-year suddenly stops talking as he heard the mini banter going on between you and Raeno, quickly catching onto the situation. Sugawara could tell how close you were to snapping at her from your body language and tone of voice, and Raeno just didn't seem to care. Though, the vice-captain knew better than to just stand there— knowing how you snapping can lead to some pretty nasty outcomes.

Quietly, Sugawara stepped into the room— gently closing the classroom door behind him. He started to slowly tiptoe his way over to you, making sure not to be seen until he finally reached to the spot beside you. The Karasuno student just watched as you and Raeno went back in forth, seeing how much Raeno was pushing you. Clearing his throat, your boyfriend spoke up.

"What's all this about?" He asks in his usual deep voice, your boyfriend's gaze flickering between you and Raeno. The banter seemed to stop as Raeno noticed Sugawara standing there, making her raise her eyebrows. Raeno decided to speak up first, the smirk still present on her face. "Oh nothing, I'm just teasing her. No big deal." She replied, shrugging nonchalantly while reaching out to boop your nose mockingly— earning a small hiss from you.

"Well, do you mind quitting it please? I don't think my girlfriend's in the mood for it right now," your boyfriend asked politely, protectively wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him— knowing how pissed Raeno must've made you. The setter started to subconsciously run his fingers through your hair, trying to get you to calm down.
