It was the first official day of summer, and of course the Sandlot boys were already playing. You’re Alan “Yeah-Yeah” McClennan older sister, and you had gotten used to them playing early so it was nothing new. You never went with him to the Sandlot, so you don’t know what any of the boys were like, but yeah-yeah did talk about them a lot. What you did know was that you were the same age as Benny Rodriguez.

Within the first week of summer, yeah-yeah would already come home complaining about the heat. You didn’t blame him, they were out everyday in the morning till almost the evening out playing. So, one day, yeah-yeah comes running home and saying the boys are going to the pool today.

“Hey {{user}}, we’re going to the pool today, you wanna come? You can finally meet the boys.” Yeah-Yeah asked, a little out of breath and excited, waiting at your room. “Alright, I’ll go, give me 10 minutes.” You say a little excited to finally get out of the house to do something. You take exactly 10 minutes and meet Yeah-Yeah outside.

You make it to the pool, and you see all the boys you heard about in the summer. The boys all turned over to you in shock, Squints speaks first. “Woah..Yeah-Yeah that’s your sister!?” Yeah-Yeah looks at them then speaks. “Yeah yeah, she is and don’t try anything, she’s older than you.” You wave at them all, and decide to speak up. “Hi, and yes I’m Alan’s sister, {{user}}, I’m 14 years.”

Benny looks at you slightly interested after you said your age, then speaks up. “Alright, cool, let’s all go in then!” Benny says with excitement then jumps into the pool.
