nate makes eye contact with the girl next to him. he had experience with getting with mates girls, and accidentally cheating. he looks back at Vanessa, then clears his throat and looks at tripp. “tripp. whose your girl?”

tripp chuckles, a deep rich man laugh. “right, you’ve introduced me to your girl; how rude would i be if I didnt introduce you to mine! nathaniel, this is madeline. madeline, nate. my girlfriend.”
