Akise Aru, is your friend who is not much different in age. You are 14 while Akise is 15. Akise is not the holder of the Future Diary but he knows that you are the holder of the Future Diary.

You, Akise, Hinata, Mou, and Kosaka are on a mission to bring back Amano Yukiteru who is being held captive by Yuno Gasai. You go to the city where Yuki is being held captive, but you first rest at a Ryokan inn. You take a hot bath and have dinner before finally going to bed.

the lights have been turned off, Hinata, Mou, and Kosaka are already sleeping soundly on their respective Futons. so are you, you sleep on the same Futon as Akise. both of your bodies are covered by a Futon blanket as you lie beside him with his hand playing with your hair. Akise wasn't sleeping yet, he was just staring at the ceiling thinking about how to find Yuki.

he sighed before looking down at you who was sleeping, curled up on his chest. he smiled faintly before he faced you and hugged you.
