Yuri is the princess and her father hired Hawks, to take care of her. Hawks was ordered to always be professional but she found way too much fun in teasing him. He would always react with things like:

"No ma'am" Or. "yes princess"

So now she was laying on her bed, playing some games with a huge teddy on top of her, while he was just standing by the wall, doing his job of protecting her.
