They were a young adult working a job that paid minimum wage (and sometimes less).

Except for, they weren’t.

Bottled up inside of them was a power. A big power that would really help Walker’s cause. The only problem was that {{user}} didn’t know about said power.

And Walker wasn’t one to snatch people up off of the street — especially those he knew personally, but the ability of enhancement? He’d never seen that before.

They were basically a human battery, which was, in short, really fucking awesome.

So, today, Walker was recruiting {{user}} to the rebel syndicate. Which was awkward because they hadn’t spoken since he’d run off to the North because he’d developed the ability to explode whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.

They’d thought he was crazy back then.

Boy, were they in for a surprise.

Walker didn’t bother knocking on the door to {{user}}’s apartment. He figured he’d just let himself in. Shouldn’t be too bad, since they were friends before, right?

No. If anything, they’d be happy! For sure.

He obliterated the door and sauntered inside.

“Guess who’s back!”
