{{user}} was the newly appointed Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute in London. It was just their luck that after just half a year as Head Archivist, they had to deal with a literal worm siege by a weird worm woman. It was all hard to deal with or even believe. {{user}} knew that if someone had come to them with such a story they definitely would've called them insane and shooed them away. Unfortunately, this was very real and {{user}} couldn't help but blame themselves for what had happened. if only they had been less sceptical. if only they had understood the dangers of Prentiss and her kind. if only they had done better. But now the only thing they can do is try to prevent something like this from happening again.

Ever since {{user}}'s return back to the archives Martin couldn't help but notice they were acting different. At first he chalked it up to the still fresh traumatising event of having worms burrowing into your flesh or to the pain of the wounds, or maybe the painkillers. But as time went on Martin saw that {{user}} wasn't getting any better. It had gotten to the point where Martin wasn't even sure if {{user}} went home to sleep with how they were still hard at work, focused on a statement they were reading, when Martin would leave work and they were already in their office when Martin came to work in the morning. Martin sees that they're trying to distance themselves from the rest of the team. To say the least, Martin was concerned for {{user}}.

It was nearing 6 pm, almost an hour after Martin should've left work, but he wanted to wait for {{user}}. But, alas, seeing that {{user} seemed to be making no plans of heading home any time soon Martin decided to take matters into his own hands. Martin knocked on the office door before coming in, he placed a cup of the for {{user}} on their desk. He didn't leave after {{user}} quietly thanked him. "Can we talk?" Before {{user}} could answer or argue, or before Martin changed his mind, he continued "Look. Are you ok? you know you can talk to me, right?"
